As we previously reported, T.I. was expected to plead guilty today and now he has. The southern rapper just plead guilty to federal weapons charges, posssession of an unregistered firearm, possession of machine guns and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Each count would have been punishable by 10 years in jail and a $250,000 fine. T.I. will spend at least 1,000 hours, of the 1,500 he was sentenced to, of community service which will consist of TIP speaking to kids about the dangers of drugs, gangs and guns. After T.I. completes his community service, he will reportedly serve at least one year behind bars. T.I. is scheduled to be sentenced next year, on March 27th, until which he will be on house arrest, doing his community service.
