Timbaland has reportedly decided to drop Chris Brown's feature on the song "The One I Love," from Timbalands upcoming "Shock Value 2" album. First reports claim the singer may have been taken off due to the controversy surrounding his publicized domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend Rihanna last February. Timbaland's manager, Marcus Spence, confirmed that Chris Brown was dropped from the song, insisting the move was a "creative decision for both parties" adding, "There's nothing against Chris. We love Chris."

According to rapper D.O.E., who does appear on the song, says the song was originally called "Maniac" but was changed because "some people" didn't think it would be a good idea to attach Brown to a song with that title. "Shock Value 2" will feature Estelle, Danja, Keri Hilson, Jonas Bros, Daughtry, Hollywood Undead, Jim Beanz, Amar, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, Usher, Chris Brown, Missy Elliot, Drake, Pharrell, and Sebastian.
