In 2012, “Young Money” recording artist Tyga dropped his debut album from the YMCMB label. The LP entitled “Careless World: Rise of the Last King”, made a good first impression and steadied the waves at the Label that was shaken with the departure of their top billing act “Drake”. “Careless World” had barely hit the street before Tyga was back in the studio working on his next project “Hotel California”.

In an interview with Power 106’s Big Boy’s Neigborhood, the rapper said that he plans to drop his sophomore album in March. He said that He is waiting on Chris Brown, who is currently working overseas, to return so that they can get back in the studio and finish up their collaborative Fan of a Fan 2 project.

“I think he’s overseas right now. I haven’t talked to him in a minute. We have a lot of songs, though. I’m dropping my album in March and I think he’s working on something new. So whenever we stop driving Lambos and posting pictures on Instagram, we can finish it,” said Tyga. “We do everything in the studio together. He’ll do a hook, three, four songs in like 30 minutes, and then I just do the verses to them. He’s fast while recording.”

When asked about Drake, the rapper was very short with his answer; “I don’t hate him, I like his music,” said the rapper.
