Wiz Khalifa Reacts To Lil Wayne’s Remix (Video)

Posted By on February 10, 2011

On the set of his new "Roll Up" music video, rapper Wiz Khalifa spoke about Lil Wayne's recent remix of his "Black & Yellow" hit single. Being from Pittsburgh (and being a Steelers fan), Wiz Khalifa was in direct competition with Weezy, who made "Green & Yellow" to support the Green Bay Packers in the Super Bowl. Dealing with his team losing the big game, Wiz stayed positive when asked about the remix. First Wiz reacted to his home team losing the big game…

"My reaction to Sunday is just like, we'll get 'em next time," the mellow MC said. "We've been to plenty of Super Bowls. It won't be the last one, and it was kind of a bummer just losing. But we had a great season and a lot of momentum just going into it, so I think that just had everybody boosted anyway. There was a lot of attention on Pittsburgh." (MTV)

Wiz then spoke about Weezy's remix….

"I actually thought it was real cool that he did his version, seeing that he even heard the song and knew how to rap to it… not that he wouldn't but it was kinda wild to hear Wayne flip how I rap, but it was cool." (MTV)
