Pittsburg, Pennsylvania native, Wiz Khalifa, has indicated the combination of being a new father and it being a very happy and creative period in his life has contributed to his early return to the recording studio.
Since Khalifa hit the scene in 2011, he has released at least one Major Label LP each year. When you include his collaboration Mac + Devin Go to High School that was done with Snoop Dogg, the kid is on a roll. He has revealed to Big Boy’s Neighborhood that he has no intention of slowing down anytime soon.
“I’m working on another album,” revealed the Taylor Gang general and Rostrum Records flagship artist. “I’m planning on dropping it this year, I wasn’t going to, but I just got like so much motivation. I been having so much fun, and having my son. I feel like it’d be a great time to put out a really dope, relevant project.”
No song titles or guest features have been mentioned as of yet. In between major releases, the rapper has released a number of independent CD’s, which includes his 2006’s Rostrum release “Show N Prove” as well as 2009’s “Deal Or No Deal”.
