Raekwon Officially Inks Deal With Dre’s Aftermath
The Wu-Tang member has officially inked a deal with Dr. Dre Aftermath label, with Dre producing the bulk of the Raekwon's music, according to MTV. But, he will also have Rza in his corner as well.
According to Rae, Dre was originally going to produce only a few tracks for the new album, but as they continued to work, things just came together.
"Allah put us in the right place," the rapper explained. "I'm working real hard, putting little pieces together. The album is coming out great. Everything is up to par. We still working on it, we never stop working till the last day."
The album will also feature production from the late J Dilla, Scram Jones and DJ Scratch.
Although there is no official release date, Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, Part 2 is expected to drop sometime next year, according to MTV.
