Wyclef Feels Economy, Teams With Fergie For Contest

This bad economy effects everyone, even muiltplatinum artists like Fugee leader Wyclef Jean. A house owned by a company Wyclef helped start with friends is going to be sold because the two million dollar plus mortgage hasn't been paid. The house, which isn't even done being built yet, is located in Miami, Florida and was turned over to the city in March. TMZ is reporting that not only was the mortgage not paid but many people working on the house haven't got their checks either.
In related news, Wyclef and Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie, recently launched a new Motorola-backed competition where the two artists will serve as judges in a talent contest in South Africa. The winner will recieve a all expenses paid trip to New York and the chance to record a song written by Wyclef while being coached by Fergie.
