At a time when it seems that there is a great deal of beef between Southern Rappers, i.e. Gucci Mane and Waka Flaka Flame, there are some rappers and entertainers from the south that are working together to bring some rather productive collaborations.
Atlanta legends, Usher, Young Jeezy, and Jermaine Dupri have been seen working together in the studio. These legendary industry veterans were pictured in a number of photos recently as they appeared to be working on some sort of collaboration.
At this point, it is not certain if the trio were working on a collaborative single or if there is some sort of mastermind project in the works. One thing is clear; each of these artist are known for putting hits to the vinyl.
Usher and Jermaine Dupri go quite a ways back. JD produced the singers breakout “My Way” LP and he also made a considerable contribution to Usher’s 8701, Confessions. Usher also collaborated with Jeezy to produce the hit single “Love In This Club”.
The pictures of the trio were posted on Jermaine Dupri’s Twitter page where the producer and label owner confirmed that the three were working on Usher’s new album.
