Young Jeezy has been making headlines all week after the Atlanta rapper was locked up for illegal gun charges. The president of Jeezy’s label, CTE, has now confirmed Jeezy is a free man after pleading not guilty to the charges.
According to reports, Jeezy and five members of his entourage were all released Thursday (Aug. 24) after posting $1 million bail.
“On Thursday evening (Aug. 28), Jeezy and his team were released after posting $1 million bail. He is also scheduled to appear in court for a pre-hearing trial three days after his new album, Seen It All: The Autobiography drops on Sept. 2.” (VIBE)
As we recently reported, Jeezy and the other five men who were arrested for possession of the illegal assault rifle have decided to plea not guilty.
“Jeezy has entered a not guilty plea to possession of an illegal assault rifle, according to the Associated Press by way of ABC. The other five men who were arrested with Jeezy entered a not guilty plea also.” (HipHopDX)
