Young Jeezy's new album, The Recession, hit stores this past Tuesday (September 2nd) and the Def Jam artist is promoting the release in many ways. One of these promotions includes a CTE-sponsored voter registration event today at Justin’s Restaurant in Atlanta. Jeezy told the AP “I’m excited; I feel like I’m going to sign for a new car and I don’t need a co-signer this time. I’m going to do it myself. So I’m definitely going to try to encourage a lot of people from my city to actually come with me,” Jeezy said [watch here]. He continued “Your one vote could have made that change; that one vote could be that vote. It could be my vote, you never know.” [watch here]

In related news, Young Jeezy recently appeared on the ABC late night show, Jimmy Kimmel Live [watch here]. Jeezy performed his hit single "Put On" for the live crowd [watch here].
