Young Jeezy Lands Role In Ice Cube's New Movie

Young Jeezy will become the next rapper to star in movie. Jeezy just landed a role in fellow rapper Ice Cube's new comedy called 'Janky Promoters.' Young Jeezy will play himself or "big-name hip-hop act," in the film. The movie is the first screenplay that Ice Cube has wrote since 'Friday After Next.' 'Janky Promoters' is being described as two undershanded concert promoters, played by Ice Cube and Mike Epps, who get into trouble with a local enemy. The film will be directed by Marcus Raboy and hit theaters in 2009.
As we reported yesterday, Young Jeezy is currently getting ready for his upcoming album called The Recession. The album, which is due out in August, will feature Jeezy's thoughts on the state of the 'hood.'
