Drake Talks Rihanna Playing Him; Unsafe Toronto

Posted By on June 9, 2010

After being robbed at gunpoint back in May of 2009 at a Toronto restaurant, Drake recently spoke about how he feels unsafe in his hometown. "I feel unsafe in Toronto at all times," Drake said in a new interview with the New York Times. "I’m a one of one. There’s no one else you can hate as much as me if you hate money, or you hate success."

Drake later talked about how he almost feels like he was played by Rihanna. On his "Fireworks" track, Drake even raps about the pop singer who asked him to write a song for her new album. "I was a pawn," Drake says. The song he wrote for her was released. "You know what she was doing to me? She was doing exactly what I’ve done to so many women throughout my life, which is show them quality time, then disappear," he said. "I was like, wow, this feels terrible."
