Posted By on November 9, 2009

Lil Wayne recently gave fans an update on the newly signed Young Money artist (and already a star) Drake. Weezy gave everyone a progress report on Drake's debut "Thank Me Later" album, saying it's basically ready to be released. "He's one of those guys who needs no help, [laughs] I don't do anything
but say, 'Let me hear that song,'" Wayne explained about Drake. "And
I'm blown away with every word. I'm honored to have him. Knowing Drake,
I want to say he's probably finished with the project. But he's one of
those guys who keeps going back to put more icing on the cake."

Weezy did also quickly touch on the delayed Hot Boys reunion with Juvenile, B.G. and Turk. "I still agree with [the reunion] — let's put it like that. There are four sides to this, and it's hard getting four sides to come to the table. But I still agree." Juvenile recently put out his new "Gotta Get It" video from his upcoming "Cocky & Confident" album which hits stores on December 1st whil B.G. was recently arrested on felony gun charges. Drake only gets on stage around 30:30 and "Uptown" starts around 35:00. [Drake Performs Verse From "Thank Me Later" Debut – Watch Here]
