Legendary Public Enemy Hype-Man, Flavor Flav, is now facing a maximum of 12 years in prison if convicted of the two felony charges he now faces.
According to a USAToday.com report, a judge in Las Vegas, NV has ruled that there is sufficient evidence that the man who revolutionized the hype-man position should stand trial for threatening his fiance’s 17 year old son with butcher knife.
There is an arraignment currently scheduled for April 18 on felony charges of assault with a weapon and child endangerment.
According to the report the rapper intends on pleading not guilty at his arraignment. If Flavor Flav is convicted of the charges, he could face a maximum of 12 years in prison. This all seems to have stemmed from an argument that the rapper had with his fiancé and her son in his home.
