Posted By on January 27, 2014

Amidst all the Grammy week festivities, Diddy decided to unleash his brand new studio facility in Hollywood, California.  The studio, deemed Harlem to Hollywood Studios, is meant to serve the Revolt TV network Diddy started last year.

In a recent video at the launch, Diddy spoke on how this studio is for creatives of all types.

“Music history right now,” Diddy says in a clip. “It’s not just my studio. This is your studio. It’s our studio…For the fans, by the fans. For the artists, by the artists.”

A few months back, Diddy also spoke on the historic event of him owning a television network.

“I went to watch the joint 12 Years a Slave this weekend,” Diddy said at the time. “It touched me as far as this whole blessing that’s going on today. Two hundred years ago, we were slaves. Now we owning networks.”

Tons of celebrities and friends joined in for the opening of the studio, including Kendrick Lamar, who spoke of his excitement for the new space.

“In my town, I love it,” Lamar says. “It’s in L.A. I can come. I can visit. I can check it out. I can party. I can have fun. I can talk music. I can live music right here.”
