Rapper Young Jeezy was recently released from jail after posting a $1 million bail and the Atlanta native spoke briefly on the situation during an interview with Hot 107.9 to promote his latest album.

According to Jeezy, he could hav bailed out fo jail right when he was locked up, but decided to wait till everyone in his crew was able to get out at the same time.

“I don’t really want to get into it cause they still investigating, but I will tell you this though,” Jeezy said. “When the smoke clears and everything’s said and done, man I can promise you and I can assure you that me and my whole crew we gon’ be good. And we shouldn’t have been detained in the first place…I’m a real one, man. It’s like this, these folks work hard on this tour with me. You know what I’m saying? And every day they was going hard for me…I just couldn’t see me getting out. Because I could have bailed out and left them in there like that. So, my whole state of mind was ‘Look man.’ I even told my bail bondsman ‘Man, until everybody’s able to get a bail then we gonna just sit here. And when I say ‘we’ I meant ‘us.’ I’m not going nowhere until we all can bail out.’” (HipHopDX)

In a recent interview with The Breakfast Club, Jeezy also revealed that the police detained his 50 year old female bus drive as well as hi cameraman.

“They detained my bus driver—two of my bus drivers, one was a 50-something-year old lady—my cameraman,” he said during his interview with The Breakfast Club. “I’m just such a real person, I know we was there to the right. I just couldn’t leave’em in there. When I stepped in the door I had bailsman right there to get me out. I just made it clear, when I leave, we leaving together. Point blank. Period.” (HipHopDX)
